The itch to go camping is something that is ever present with the Rangers. When it becomes too much to bare, we search out a new spot to check out. November of 2024, we decided to check out Cowan Lake State Park in Wilmington Ohio. We invaded the Pine Tree Group Campsite and called it basecamp for the weekend, set up an archery range and of course trekked through the forest. The food is always something to admired when the rangers gather around the fire. This weekend included homemade Challah bread to go with campfire chicken stew and jambalaya finished off with a Dutch oven apple crisp.
