FAQ

You may have many questions about our group and what we stand for. This page is to help answer any of those questions.

  • Ranger Shit has been mentioned numerous times throughout this site. But what exactly is it? Our group prides ourselves on holding to the original ideas of Rangers. Specifically, skills needed to survive in the wilderness for extended amounts of time.

These skills include but are not limited to fire building, archery, first aid, tracking, and shelter building. While these are the flashy skills, rangers were also experienced in basic skills like foraging, sewing and leather working. We as a group focus on every aspect of what it takes to be a ranger of the wild.

  • Our guild has a few rules but the most important is to be passionate about being in the wilderness and being active within the guild. We understand life is busy and complicate but we ask that every member commits to participating in a least one in person event every yearly quarter.

  • Our group meets all over the southwest Ohio area. While we centralize around the Caesar Creek State Park area in Ohio, we travel to wherever there is Ranger shit to do. We have participated in Indiana, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and all throughout Ohio.

  • Our guild prides ourselves on learning and using live edge weapons. We have active archery and sword training sessions and for that reason, we are a substance free guild. When you represent R.O.W. we expect you to take the safety of all members extremely serious. What you do in your own time is your business but when we have stabby stuff available, we expect all members to be completely sober.
